Migraine is a fairly common disorder that involves an intense and throbbing headache, often on one side. The pain worsens with movement.
Many people with migraine suffer from visual symptoms before suffering the pain itself. They may even see zigzag lines, bright or colored lights, or flashes of light on one side of their vision. These symptoms can last up to 30 minutes and are called prodromes.
It can also cause sensitivity to light, sound and odors, nausea (upset stomach) or vomiting (vomiting). We explain everything in this interesting video.
